Every weekday, I commute from a little 2-pub village to the bustling Hertfordshire metropolis of Stevenage, the original (and many say best) ‘new town’. From there it’s a mere 20 minutes to King’s Cross. However, before I clamber aboard the 8:07, I must park my reasonable-in-every-sense-of-the-word Ford Focus. But where? Read on and you will know. In excruciating detail.

Hi, nice to meet you !

  2. Hi, I would like to ask you a couple of questions about the parking at Stevenage station. Iā€™m looking at moving out of London as I have two very small boys and need a bit more space (but I need to balance that with commute time and potentially never seeing them as I spend much more time travelling) My big concern is parking at the station ā€“ Looking at your posts its obviously your specialist subject!!

On the face of it the commute time would work but if in reality I had to park miles from the station or get a bus etc then the reality could be very different ā€“ how early do you need to get to the station to guarantee a space?

Any chance you could drop me an email and I can get in contact?
